Just a post: Tagaytay for Easter Sunday

I know this is a late post because it’s Wednesday already. I am having problems with my wordpress for android and I cannot post new entries since this happenings. Maybe because of the signal I think, the wall built in front of our main window.

Too much introduction.

IMAG0566We went to Tagaytay to attend a mass in Monte Maria Parish Church, Alfonso, Cavite. As far as I know this is where Fr, Fernando Suarez does his healing masses. Unfortunately, Aguinaldo Highway, as always, congested. Since it was a long weekend also everyone headed outside the Metro, we arrived during the last part of the mass. Thankfully, I was still able to absorbed the essence of the celebration.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. – John 3:16

For our salvation, for the love he has for the world.

I cannot remember the exact words said during the final blessing but I know my heart understood everything. The blessing of the religious articles came next followed by the healing. I can see that Filipinos are religious by heart. Those who will not be participating with the activities, they all went to the stoned images of Mama Mary and Jesus Christ. They were wiping their handkerchiefs and wiping it after their faces. His family led us to the altar, to the crucifix. It was my second time to touch Jesus’ feet and pray. I felt something inside me, it’s unexplainable.

As I walk away the altar, I prayed. I leave everything to him. I know what am I doing now is under his plans. I will never gone this far without his guidance.

We headed to Mahogany Market to have lunch and buy fruits.

After that his father asked us if we want to wander around the city. We went to the People’s Park Palace in the Sky.

IMAG0562  What I only know about this place is that it was formerly the rest house of the former first lady Ms. Imelda Marcos, too bad the place is neglected.

IMAG0563_AnneThere is also a mini chapel there. My lungs was complaining when I walked going up its peak, but the view was breathtaking. The altitude gave the place a very cold temperature.

There was even a photo op with a python. Yikes! (I haven’t got the picture)

It was truly not a typical Sunday for me because as always I am with my future “in-laws” BUT…

I really had fun. Winking
