Life Update: Choco Mint Muffin, Cloud Migration, Ghost Writing, and Real Job

I received an email from my hosting provider saying that they will migrate into a cloud platform and advised to refrain from updating my site.
So I will not be able to post to my beauty blog and I am here.
Just to update I am one month behind regarding the event’s preparation on March maybe the change in management and the previous event affected it.
As for my other job, I accepted numerous number of ghost writing jobs as I do not have a qualified blog to accept paid tasks. Blogging has really become mainstream in the Philippines. My PayPal account shows positive balance and I have bought new makeups out of it.
I do not see anything bad about Ghost Writing simply because I understand how busy a blogger can be and who wants to let go of tasks right? Some bloggers do not receive those task like me. Writing for them makes me feel that the task was also assign to me. Besides I can practice my writing skills, writing with different topics, restrictions, and deadline.
I am happy with the result of my beauty blog. I feel that I made the right decision of doing it because I’ve been into beauty since high school. It’s something that I do not have to force myself just to keep it updated. It’s not always about the ranking, it’s about new discoveries and experiences you encounter.
I become a more positive and friendly person because of it. I met new people and receive perks. (Visit: www.dishysammy.com)
My online store is doing good also knowing that I do not update it that much. I am impressed because I still have customers. I think I should allot enough time for that. (Search: Sammy Sari Store on Facebook)
Right now I am reading Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks.
I received this book from a colleague – birthday gift.
I also bought other books to read from book sale – The Beck Diet, The Hex Appeal, 10 minutes 10 years, and Lover’s Yoga, all self help books.
I hope I could start getting fit and healthy.
Reading helps me speak and write more fluent and spontaneous. It exercise my brain cells too and I am learning a lot of things.
Moreover, I am lacking sleep simply because I am waking up early and sleeping late at night. Our new house is just really far from my work place I have no social life but I love the place.
I am still adjusting and still striving. I am going with the flow, I hope the forces above is guiding me because I really want to pursue this journey I am currently taking.
I hope to make the right decisions.
So much of a personal post here. I should not have change it into a food blog. hahaha
Oh well I should finish my muffin.
I am terribly sleepy.

Hey everyone,
I know I already dedicated a site for all my makeup posts but sad to say I still haven’t up the site. 
(this post will also be published in my BlogSpot and dishysammy)
Oh well my best friend ask me to brainstorm possible makeup look she can wear to a wedding she’ll attend in June. I am killing time yesterday and here’s what I came up with.
Apologies. I am still on my sleepwear and bed hair. 
Here’s the step by step.
- Start with a clean face.
- Apply Moisturizer.
- Apply Makeup Base. I used Avon Solutions Refined White Makeup Base in Green. I like putting makeup base so that my foundation will last the whole day.
- Apply Foundation. I used Lola Masquerade Foundation Act II. I used a stippling brush to apply it.
- Apply concealer under your eyes, sides of your nose and mouth. I used Revlon Age Defying Spa Concealer in Light Medium.
- Apply eyelid primer. I used Elf Eye shadow Primer.
- Set everything with powder. I used Revlon Photoready Powder in Natural. You can use any loose powder you have.
- Let’s go the the eyes.
Apologies for the ugly eyebrows. 
I used a stencil and turned out to be a disaster. haha
I used the following on my eyes.
- Revlon Custom Eyes 030
- Dollface 48 Shimmer Palette
- Dollface 72 Vanity Palette
- Revlon Brow Fantasy
- Revlon Growluscious Mascara
- Revlon Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner
- Avon Retractable Eyeliner
- Demi Lashes from Saizen
- I applied a matte baby pink from my Dollface 72 Vanity Palette first as base followed by the pink shimmer shade in my Revlon Custom Eyes 030 on my entire lid.
- I applied the purple from Revlon Custom Eyes 030 on my outer V bringing the color to my crease.
- Blend. Blend. Blend.
- I applied the same purple shadow on my lower lash line, only halfway.
- I used a matte white shadow to highlight my brow bone while cleaning harsh line from the purple.
- I applied a shimmer pink from my Dollface 48 Shimmer Palette to center of my lid, inner corners of my eyes, and to the other half of my lower lash line.
- I lined my upper lash line using a liquid eyeliner and lower water line with a brown eyeliner.
- I curled my lashes and put my demi lashes.
- I defined my brow.
Going back to the face.
- Contour – cheekbone, jaw line, temples, and nose using a matte bronzer. I used Bodyshop Matte Bronzer. Doing a fish face is best to contour your face correctly.
- Apply blush on the apples of your cheek. SMILE. I used Nichido Powder Blush in Tomato.
- Highlight. I used Elf Bronzer – Innocence.
- Apply Lipstick. I used SanSan Shimmer Lipstick 01 for the carnation pink color.
I changed my lip color into fuchsia for variation. I used Revlon Lip Butter in Lollipop.

My good friend Ferry 《check out Ferry’s blog》 recently posted what’s inside her purse and challenged me to make a similar post.
So tadaaaaa!
Here’s the purse I bring with me everyday. I got this one for my last birthday. It’s from Naraya, i like the brand because of the bows. All of their bags have bows, and this is my second bad from the store. The only downfall is that it doesn’t have outside pockets, but overall it can fit my closet.
So let’s dig what’s inside.
Looks like a garage bag isn’t it? LOL
I have my eyeglasses, my grade is 75/25, I’ve been expose in front of my monitor eight hours a day so I have poor eyesight now. I also have my sunglasses cause I do not go out without wearing one. I got this pair last Christmas, our events coordinator gave to me, it’s from fossil. I love it very much.
Next, we have my…
wet tissue, tissue, and feminine wipes. I do not now if I am OC or something but I do use them a lot.
Then my toiletries…
this is where I put them, my StarWorld pouch that I got from Fox last March.
Here I have my toothbrush, toothpaste (of course), dental floss, all around deodorizer (i don’t use stinky toilets), deodorant, oil blotters, panty liners, extra undies, fem wash, facial wash (in case I am going to sleep somewhere, I have to be prepared), bug spray, and toilet seat spray (which is not in the photo i think)
I am getting embarass now. LOL
Next, my patent purple makeup kit…
inside you will see…
COUNTER CLOCKWISE in groups
for the lips: avon dewy lip balm, vaseline petroleum tube, watsons mint lip balm, elf lipstick in gypsy, and mac dual ended maximum pro lipstick and lip gloss (again a gift, i love the shade super)
For the eyes: eyelash curler, elf eyeshadow primer, revlon brow fantasy, nichido clear mascara, revlon growlucious mascara, nichido mineral black eyeliner pencil, shawill 12 frosted eyeshadow
For the face: elf corrective concealer, sophie magic blush (this is amazing, it’s just a white cream and when you put on your cheeks it turns pink, amazing), nichido powder blush in tomato, avon 3 in 1 stick in maple syrup
So you will notice I have a lot, most of the time I do not wear them especially if I am running late. But for emergency meetings I got what I need to look, at least, presentable.
Let’s move on to this…
My not so organized bag organizer, I have all the essentials here.
You will find my flash drives (i have 10 drives mind you, I carry only 4 with me), ipod shuffle connector, chacha’s usb connector, punch’s headset, and chacha’s headset 【chacha is my smartphone from HTC and punch is my company phone from samsung, they have pet names harhar】
next is my hair ties, comb, my cologne, my business card holder, notepad, and my mirror.
Let’s take a look at my cologne and business card closer.
my friend from JackTV gave this cologne to me during our fellowship night, it’s from zen zest.
And my business cards, my manager told me to bring this with me all the time.
Next is my wallets (yes wallets) why?
I have three kinds. My real wallet is the black one all my identifications are there, i got that from girbaud. Then the purple wallet (gift again from davao), it’s where I put my money of the day, bus tickets, and food receipts. Then lastly, my coin purse that I got from saizen for only 85 pesos. I do not like pulling out my wallet in public utility vehicles, for safety purposes.

And membership/discount cards that I got. Hahaha
I didn’t know that I have my passport here as well as a ten Hong Kong dollar (I forgot to clean it when I came back perhaps) and discount coupons from Jollibee.
Phew!
I bring my umbrella too, weather is unpredictable.
And lastly
my Belle de Jour planner. (I have my pens too)
I also bring a small bag with me where I put my water and packed lunch. Hihi
So that’s it! Consider me a girl scout with the things I carry around with me.
But when I don’t go to work, for example, I will just have my nails done or groceries, I just bring 1/4 of this purse.

my friend Kate asked me how did I made this…. Babe told me that I looked like a doll (amazing huh?)
The photo above was 6 hours already (no more concealer see?). I look like a laundry girl early that morning (said my boss) so I decided to transform at night.

Step 1: Mosturize
Step 2: Foundation. I used Revlon Photoready Foundation cause I know I will take a lot of pictures that night.
Step 3: Define your brows. I always use dark brown pencil for my brows, I used Covergirl Eyebrow Pencil here.
Step 4: I applied a pearly white cream eyeshadow as a base on my entire lid and brow bone,
Step 5: Powder Eyeshadow. I used Silver, Gray, and Dark Grey.
Step 6: Blend. Blend. Blend. | I created a shadowy winged also and I line my upper lash line super close to my lashes using a black silicon eyeliner.
Step 7: I used the silver eye shadow to line my lower lash line and my waterline with the black eyeliner.
Step 8: Mascara. Any mascara you want and Falsies. My falsies were from Saizen, It’s not a full eye lashes, it just accentuated the outer corner of my eyes.
Step 9: Applied bronzer to contour my cheeks, pink blush-on, I contoured my nose too.
Step 10: I used my nude lipstick for this to compliment my dress.

There very simple. I am wearing my lenses cause I do not want to wear my glasses (that I am wearing now 
)
